The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mcclain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lee shoots and misses

and Mcclain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lee gets control of Mcclain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mcclain connects with a nice short shot to Lee 's temple.

Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcclain pulls his head out easily.

Mcclain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Mcclain maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lee could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mcclain has cracked it and Lee is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mcclain!
