Campbell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tyga - Rack City kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chris Campbell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Barry Coulter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Campbell !
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Donatello Bradman and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Campbell rushes Coulter and presses him up against the cage.
Coulter working aggressively here.
Campbell is trying to pull guard but Coulter turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Coulter with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Coulter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Campbell jumps guard but Coulter turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Coulter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Campbell backwards.
Coulter scores with a nice hook to the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Campbell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Campbell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Coulter.
Coulter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Coulter lands a hook that snaps the head of Campbell backwards.

Coulter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Campbell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Campbell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Coulter rushes Campbell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Campbell is trying to drag Coulter to the mat but Coulter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Barry Coulter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Campbell .

Coulter lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Campbell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Campbell misses with a head kick.

Chris Campbell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Campbell gets tackled into the cage by Coulter. Coulter maintains the clinch.
Campbell tries to pull guard but Coulter won't allow it.

Coulter throws a punch but it's blocked by Campbell .
Coulter misses with the head strike.

Coulter breaks the clinch.

Campbell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Coulter circles away.
Campbell throws a body kick that misses.

Campbell tries to clinch there but Coulter circles away.
Coulter looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Coulter throws a head kick that misses.
Coulter lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Campbell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coulter tries to avoid it but Campbell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coulter to the ground. Coulter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Coulter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Campbell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Coulter throws a head kick that Campbell semi-blocks.


Campbell is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Campbell is still on wobbly legs! Can Coulter finish him?
Coulter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Campbell backwards.

Coulter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Coulter moves into the clinch successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Coulter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Coulter works on Campbell 's body with a couple of short punches.
Coulter has Campbell pressed against the cage, preventing Campbell from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Coulter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Coulter fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Coulter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Campbell with a big uppercut! Campbell tries to clinch up but Coulter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Campbell to the mat! Campbell covers up and Coulter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
