The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Town throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gomez's waist but Gomez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Town off to one side.

Gomez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Town wants to break free but Gomez has control.
Town is trying to stall.
Gomez utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.

Town tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gomez just stands there and leans against the cage.

Gomez breaks from the clinch.
Gomez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Town.

Gomez darts in and clinches Town up against the cage.

Town blocks a head kick by Gomez.
Gomez stuffs the takedown attempt from Town. Town gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Mike Town has been cut.
Town fails to land the takedown.

Town has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Town there as he acknowledges the shot.

Gomez lands a big head kick that sends Town tumbling to the mat! Gomez takes a step backwards and waves Town back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gomez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gomez lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Town crumples to the floor! Gomez milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
