The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luck with a poor takedown

and Eddy counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Luck is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Eddy to keep the fight standing.
Luck is working for takedown but Eddy is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nelson Eddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jenson Luck.

Luck drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Eddy gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Eddy gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Luck regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Eddy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Luck is looking for a triangle here but Eddy uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luck on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Eddy lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Luck! Eddy senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Luck out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
