Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Graeme Symons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshiro Montero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Montero's choice of entrance music: Danzig - Mother . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Graeme Symons!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Toshiro Montero!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Montero misses its intended target.

Symons fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Montero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Symons is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Montero.

Symons drives through and clinches with Montero against the cage.
Symons wants to take the fight to the mat but Montero manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Symons has hold of one of Montero's legs. Montero is fighting the takedown attempt but Symons gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Symons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Montero has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Symons has managed to get both his arms back between Montero's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Symons is taking a breather. Montero says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That was a close round but I would say that Graeme Symons will probably get the nod.

Toshiro Montero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Montero has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Toshiro Montero decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
