Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Trap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roque Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roque Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Trap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roque Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson thuds a left hand into Trap's body.
Trap changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Trap manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Trap. Trap gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Trap fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Johnson to the ground. Trap is now in Johnson's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnson lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Trap falls backwards - clearly groggy! Johnson dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roque Johnson!
