Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Box Fresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fresh has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right hand that Fresh ducks under and follows up with a left that Fresh also avoids with ease.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fresh. That did some damage!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva misses with a body shot.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fresh sprawls well. Fresh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva goes for a double leg but Fresh avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fresh continues to drive forward.

Fresh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silva gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Silva gets control of Fresh's arms and successfully pulls guard. Silva will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fresh uses his free foot to push down on Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silva.
Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.

Fresh throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fresh on the ground.

Fresh misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
A nice elbow there by Fresh.
The referee warns Silva that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Fresh working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Silva looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Fresh! Submission of the night perhaps?
