Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brande Eideann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoover's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ecstasy of Gold. Eideann comes into a darkened arena with his song building. We Didn't Start the Fire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eideann throws a hook but Hoover blocks it.
Eideann looks to land a right hand but Hoover moved out of range.
Eideann throws a nice looking combination but Hoover bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hoover gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Hoover shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eideann is trying to defend but Hoover finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Eideann isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hoover stacks Eideann on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hoover!

Hoover is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That was a close round but I would say that Edgar Hoover will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Eideann misses with a looping left.
Hoover looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Eideann is fending him off so far but Hoover persists. Nope, Eideann circles away and we're back to standing.

Hoover manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Eideann keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hoover has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Eideann to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hoover is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Eideann pulls down on the head and he's put Hoover to sleep! This one is all over!
