The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Torres tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Torres swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Torres swinging wildly here.
A combination from Torres does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torres throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely.
Torres misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely.

Torres looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Torres misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice takedown defense from Gracie. No joy for Torres on that attempt.

Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.

Torres shoots in looking for a takedown but Gracie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Torres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Torres fights it but they end up in guard.
Ceaser Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Torres.
Gracie is pushing down on Torres's leg trying to pass to half guard. Torres is fighting to maintain full guard but Gracie has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gracie is looking to advance position but Torres won't allow it.
Gracie moves into full mount! Torres won't be happy about that!
Gracie is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Torres is in real trouble.

Torres is trying to defend against the choke here but Gracie has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Gracie Tightens the hold and Torres taps out furiously! Gracie displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
