Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mateus Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Hunter!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hunter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Gracie will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gracie throws a hook to the side of Hunter's head but Hunter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gracie clinches with his opponent.
Gracie blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gracie misses with a punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Hunter fails to land.
Hunter blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gracie tries to throw a body punch but Hunter avoids it by throwing Gracie back against the cage.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hunter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie.
Hunter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gracie with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Hunter scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gracie is working hard here to advance position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Gracie tries to bench press Hunter off him but Hunter keeps the position.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hunter is looking to improve his position.
Hunter is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Gracie jumps into side control!

Hunter manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hunter winds up and cracks Gracie with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Gracie tries to roll over but Hunter keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunter looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunter has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Hunter looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hunter is on top in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hunter passes Gracie's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunter is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie has a hand on Hunter's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hunter takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hunter wants to control the pace but Gracie is squirming around nicely.
Hunter putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Gracie is trying to escape the mount.

Gracie is looking to improve his position but Hunter isn't that keen on the idea.
Hunter cracks Gracie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape.
Hunter scores with a couple of good head shots there.

A nice elbow there by Hunter.
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
BOOM! Hunter connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Gracie is rocked!
Hunter lands with some strikes.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunter drops a big elbow. That's hurt Gracie! More shots from Hunter and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
