Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Risley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Sasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter Risley looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risley lands a leg kick that knocks Sasi off balance momentarily.
Risley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Sasi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Risley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Average Joe's in the buildup to the fight.
Risley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sasi lands a jab to the head.
Risley tries for a takedown but Sasi circles away easily
and Sasi counters with a single leg into guard. Risley didn't expect that.
Risley is breathing heavily.
Sasi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sasi gets to his feet - Risley follows without any prompting.
Sasi jabs Risley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Risley clinches up against the ropes.
Risley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Risley manages to end up in side control.
Sasi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Risley has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Sasi has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Risley tries to advance to mount but Sasi denies him.
Sasi is trying to get back to his feet.
Sasi is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Sasi explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
The fight stays on the outside here - Risley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sasi lands the left hand.
Sasi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Risley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sasi is chipping away with strikes.

Risley is looking to reverse the position.
Sasi creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Risley is rocked!

Sasi grinds an elbow into Risley's temple.
Oh Risley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sasi scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Risley is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sasi can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
