Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Landon Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Pacioretty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Pacioretty!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacioretty misses with a wild body shot.
Pacioretty loads up on a big right hand but Austin slips the punch.
No joy there for Pacioretty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pacioretty goes for a double leg but Austin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Austin continues to drive forward.

Pacioretty drops down looking for an ankle pick but Austin pulls his leg out and moves away.

Pacioretty takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Pacioretty changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Austin tries to avoid it but Pacioretty manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Austin to the ground. Austin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Austin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
