The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pele fails to land with a series of punches.
Pele instigates a clinch.
Pele jumps guard but Ronaldo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ronaldo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Ronaldo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pele backwards.
Pele tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ronaldo Ronaldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Pele.

Ronaldo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pele is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ronaldo to the mat. Ronaldo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ronaldo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pele has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
