Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Artur Ross!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross throws a hook but Desormeaux avoids it easily.
Ross shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ross gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ross lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Desormeaux backwards.
Desormeaux misses with a hook to the ribs.
Desormeaux tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ross smiles and moves away.
Desormeaux throws a sloppy head kick and Ross moves out of range easily.
Desormeaux throws a wild body kick that Ross sees coming a mile off.
Desormeaux tries to work over Ross's front leg with a kick but Ross checks it.
Desormeaux fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ross avoids it really well and circles away.
Desormeaux looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Desormeaux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ross was well out of range. Poor timing from Desormeaux.

Desormeaux drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ross throwing strikes but Desormeaux manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Desormeaux wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ross, who protects the arm well.

Ross felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
You can see the frustration on Ross's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Desormeaux wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ross, who protects the arm well.

The ground and pound from Desormeaux seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Desormeaux is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ross has escaped the position, nice work there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Desormeaux wants to slow Ross down by chopping away at his legs.

Desormeaux does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Ross stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ross wants it to stay on the feet.

Ross wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ross creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ross working the clinch nicely. Desormeaux is working for position but Ross cracks him with a big knee to the head! Desormeaux crumples up against the cage and Ross lands two more shots before the ref can save Desormeaux! This one is all over!
