Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Braida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dutch Schaeffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braida comes to the cage accompanied by Here I am. Schaeffer has chosen Long Tall Sally as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Braida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dutch Schaeffer!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braida goes for a double leg but Schaeffer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Schaeffer continues to drive forward.
Schaeffer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Braida pulls his leg out and moves away.
Braida tries to bum rush Schaeffer with a series of wild strikes but Schaeffer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Schaeffer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Braida throws a big shot that misses.
Braida is trying hard to land a takedown here. Schaeffer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Schaeffer blocks a jab.
Schaeffer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Braida. Braida circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
No joy there for Braida, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Braida looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Braida misses the jab.
Braida falls off balance throwing a combination
and Schaeffer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Braida looks to land a body kick but Schaeffer moved away.
Schaeffer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Schaeffer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Braida sees it coming and defends easily.
Schaeffer has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ACADEMIA ESPARTANA ® . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Schaeffer tries to pass to full mount but Braida defends it.
Schaeffer in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Braida tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Schaeffer!
