Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abdula Hazam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rage has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rage and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rage jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hazam is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hazam and Rage has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hazam tries to avoid it but Rage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hazam to the ground. Hazam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hazam's waist but Hazam gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rage off to one side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
