Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson comes into the arena with August Burns Red - Meridian blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dustin Davidson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Arnold!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnold tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davidson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Arnold shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Davidson just misses with a punch to the body.
Davidson looks for a takedown but Arnold sprawls well.
Davidson looks to throw the jab but Arnold is out of range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Davidson.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Arnold wants to get back to his feet but Davidson drags him back down.
Davidson throws a strike aimed at the side of Arnold's head but Arnold avoids it well.
Davidson throws an elbow but Arnold slips to the side and avoids it well.
Davidson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Arnold to see if he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davidson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arnold keeps working.

Davidson tries to score with some ground and pound. Arnold controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Davidson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Arnold, who protects the arm well.
Davidson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Arnold is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Davidson cracks Arnold with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Davidson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Arnold is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Davidson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dustin Davidson!
Dustin Davidson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
