Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lew Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yermolai Sokoloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes into the arena with Broke for Free - Calm the F#@$ Down blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sokoloff has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jenkins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sokoloff.

We've been hearing good reports from Jenkins's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Yermolai Sokoloff has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jenkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lew Jenkins.
I think Jenkins has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
