Russo comes into the arena with Volbeat - The Human Instrument blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Noteboom moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Nice combo by Russo! Oh, that's hurt him - De Noteboom falls to the canvas and Russo follows him into side control.

It looks like Robert De Noteboom has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

De Noteboom cracks Russo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Russo seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Russo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. De Noteboom manages to get himself to full guard.
