Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ryan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Ryan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jones is defending well for now.

Jones is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ryan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jones to the mat. Jones regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Ryan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard.

Ryan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ryan is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ryan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ryan has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ryan keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ryan wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.

Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ryan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ryan pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!
