Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doc Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi has chosen Slaap lekker! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holliday's waist but Holliday gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gomi off to one side.

Gomi shoots in and gets a takedown into Holliday's guard.
Gomi stays in close to Holliday's body and controls the position.
Holliday wants to stand and escape but Gomi is having none of it.

Gomi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holliday has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gomi has managed to get both his arms back between Holliday's legs - danger averted.
Holliday has momentary wrist control but Gomi slips an elbow through the middle.
Gomi is looking to work some ground and pound but Holliday has wrist control.
Holliday is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Holliday utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Gomi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gomi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Holliday looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gomi is defending well. Holliday quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gomi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Holliday celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
