The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Doctor Cupitmasha.

Cupitmasha shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Liminal manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Liminal forces Cupitmasha back against the cage and clinches.

Liminal is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cupitmasha is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Liminal to the mat. Liminal regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Liminal is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cupitmasha is looking for a sweep. Liminal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Liminal is working for an americana but Cupitmasha has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Liminal was thinking about the submission.

Liminal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cupitmasha swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Liminal is fighting to break Cupitmasha's control of his arms but Cupitmasha is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Cupitmasha has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Cupitmasha is looking to stand up but Liminal isn't so interested in that idea.

Doctor Cupitmasha has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Liminal looks to land a combination. Cupitmasha sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Cupitmasha ducks straight into an uppercut from Liminal and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Cupitmasha manages to regain guard straight away.

Cupitmasha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Liminal!
Oh Cupitmasha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've been informed that Liminal has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Liminal fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cupitmasha, pushing him back against the cage.

Cupitmasha has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Liminal clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cupitmasha controlling the position well here. Liminal rolled but Cupitmasha kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Cupitmasha's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Cupitmasha is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Liminal has escaped the position, nice work there.
Liminal parries the strikes from Cupitmasha easily there. Cupitmasha is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Liminal to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A lull in the action here as Cupitmasha stalls from top position.

I would just about give that final round to Sub Liminal.
