The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barret cracks Azhiev with a good jab.
We've been told by Azhiev's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Azhiev looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Barret fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Azhiev on the side of the head.
Barret throws a nice looking combination but Azhiev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Barret throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Azhiev tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Barret just stands there and leans against the cage.

Barret pushes Azhiev back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Azhiev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barret connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Azhiev scrambles back to his feet.

Barret is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Azhiev hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
