Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zachariah Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royce Parker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Zachariah Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Royce Parker!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Roy counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Parker tries to pull guard but Roy holds him up against the cage and eventually Parker drops back down to his feet.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Parker tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roy smiles and moves away.
Parker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zachariah Roy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Parker.

Roy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Parker to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Parker stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Parker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roy swivels and escapes.

Roy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Parker, pushing him back against the cage.

Parker won't allow Roy to sweep him here.
Roy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Parker is trying to control. Roy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Roy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Parker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parker.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roy is staying active underneath Parker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Roy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Parker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Parker's back!

Parker rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Parker lands a couple of sideways elbows.

Roy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roy is looking to pass into half guard but Parker pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Parker is in guard.

Roy misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roy shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Parker is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Roy is keeping busy.
Parker jumps guard but Roy turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zachariah Roy will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Roy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Parker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Roy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parker as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Roy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Roy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Roy is trying to pull guard but Parker has him pressed against the cage.

Roy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zachariah Roy.
I think Roy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
