Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hyan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Kure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gracie manages to break the clinch.
Gracie lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kure shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kure shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gracie defends it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Kure shoots in.
Hyan Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crazy Kure.
Kure misses with a series of wild punches.
Crazy Kure seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie tries a head kick but it misses.

and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Gracie breaks the clinch.
Kure will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kure shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well.
Kure looks winded!
Kure goes for a double leg but Gracie avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gracie continues to drive forward.
Gracie keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kure's efforts to push away.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gracie - that will leave a mark!
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie content to stall in guard here.
Gracie tries to stand but Kure is controlling from the bottom.

Hyan Gracie has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Gracie lands a big head kick that sends Kure tumbling to the mat! Gracie takes a step backwards and waves Kure back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Crazy Kure has been cut.
Kure is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gracie is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kure tries to clinch but Gracie moves away

and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gracie is looking to slow Kure down with leg kicks.
Gracie connects with a high kick.

Gracie forces Kure back against the cage and clinches.

Gracie breaks from the clinch.

Gracie throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie scores with a kick to the midsection.
Gracie scores with a nice body kick.

Gracie has closed the distance and engaged Kure in a clinch.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gracie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kure is defending well for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie misses with a knee strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hyan Gracie dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Crazy Kure's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gracie , right into the meat.
Kure throws out a leg kick but Gracie moves out of range and Kure only half commits.
Kure swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gracie ! Kure is out on his feet! Gracie rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kure is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kure is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
