Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Guchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Patton dives in and grabs Guchi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guchi pushes down on Patton's head and hops out.

Guchi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Guchi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Patton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Patton wants to improve his position but Guchi is controlling well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Guchi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Patton clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guchi is trying to stick to Patton's back but Patton is turning into Guchi. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Guchi's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Patton.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Patton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
