The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lancaster looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Patton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lancaster's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lancaster's back!
Lancaster rolls, trying to escape but Patton keeps control of the position.
Even with his hooks in, Patton manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Patton is throwing strikes by Lancaster counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Lancaster regains half guard.
