The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Windu throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
We've been hearing reports that Farmery has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Farmery misses the body punch

and Windu holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Farmery tries for a takedown. No joy.
Windu throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Farmery blocks it with crossed arms.
Windu is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Farmery is defending well for now.
Farmery is trying to drag Windu to the mat but Windu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Farmery has Windu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Windu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Windu has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

Windu is pressed up against the cage. Farmery has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Windu down to the mat. Windu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

It looks like Kai Farmery has been cut.

Kai Farmery seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Windu lands a head kick. Farmery smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Windu misses with a hook. Farmery ducked under it nicely.

Windu lands a left and a right that send Farmery crashing to the mat, dazed. Windu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Farmery is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kai Farmery's cut is getting worse.
Windu fakes the body blow, causing Farmery to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Farmery goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
