The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrejevich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Joaquin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Andrejevich.
Andrejevich darts in looking for a takedown but Joaquin gets double underhooks and turns Andrejevich into the cage.
Joaquin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Andrejevich jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Joaquin walks away with a smile on his face. Andrejevich gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Andrejevich doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Joaquin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mihalj Andrejevich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
