PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Kytta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Priebcko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kytta comes to the cage accompanied by The Odorants - This Night. Priebcko has chosen Sweet Dreams as his entrance music. Ivan Priebcko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Priebcko!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Priebcko moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Priebcko lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kytta doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Mikko Kytta has been cut.
Priebcko wants to clinch up but Kytta keeps it at a distance.
Priebcko misses with an uppercut.
Kytta walks into a jab.
Kytta swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A combination from Kytta does no damage.
Kytta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Priebcko.
Priebcko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kytta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kytta gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Priebcko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donk. Priebcko catches Kytta right on the button with a cross.

Kytta misses with a series of wild punches.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kytta. That's going to slow Priebcko down.
Priebcko throws a low kick, looking for Kytta's leg but Kytta calmly moves out of range.
Kytta throws a lazy body kick
and Priebcko counters with a leg kick.
Kytta moves forwards but Priebcko connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Priebcko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kytta tries a low kick but Priebcko avoids it.
Kytta takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Priebcko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kytta.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kytta connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Ivan Priebcko has been cut.
Kytta stuns Priebcko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kytta throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kytta looks for the body kick but Priebcko saw that one coming.
Kytta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Priebcko was well out of range. Poor timing from Kytta.
Priebcko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Priebcko thows a left - swing and a miss!

Kytta takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kytta scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Priebcko doesn't seem bothered though.

A slow jab from Priebcko misses its intended target.

Kytta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Priebcko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Priebcko wants to clinch but Kytta slips to the side
and Kytta counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Kytta counters with a crisp right hand that drops Priebcko! Kytta lets Priebcko back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Priebcko tries to clinch there but Kytta circles away.
Kytta drops Priebcko with a naaaaasty hook - Priebcko is in real trouble here! Kytta dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
