Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Barbossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salvador Dimagiba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dimagiba rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barbossa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barbossa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dimagiba sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barbossa somewhat.
Dimagiba goes for a double leg but Barbossa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barbossa continues to drive forward.
Barbossa is pressed up against the cage. Dimagiba has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barbossa down to the mat. Barbossa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jake Barbossa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Salvador Dimagiba.
Dimagiba tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barbossa swivels and escapes.

Barbossa throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Barbossa is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Dimagiba has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Dimagiba is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.

Barbossa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dimagiba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dimagiba tries to move into range but Barbossa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Barbossa is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Barbossa turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Barbossa manages to end up in side control.
Dimagiba is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Barbossa is controlling him well.

Barbossa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dimagiba is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dimagiba looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Barbossa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Barbossa closes the distance and clinches up with Dimagiba, looking for a takedown. Barbossa pushes Dimagiba against the cage but Dimagiba circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dimagiba is fighting off a takedown attempt but Barbossa is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dimagiba to the mat. Dimagiba regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Barbossa closes the distance looking for a takedown. Dimagiba stuffs it but Barbossa still has hold of him. Barbossa picks Dimagiba up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Barbossa slams Dimagiba to the floor and that's really hurt Dimagiba - he doesn't know where he is! Barbossa throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
