Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kitsune Tsuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Vallenfyre - Iconoclast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 17 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kitsune Tsuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Stroud!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuki avoids a punch combination nicely.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Stroud.

Tsuki moves into the clinch.

Tsuki has clasped his hands together around Stroud's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Tsuki goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stroud has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tsuki but great work by Stroud.

Stroud stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Tsuki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stroud buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Stroud shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tsuki's guard.

Tsuki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stroud doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stroud manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Stroud postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Stroud has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stroud is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Tsuki is working an open guard so Stroud takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Tsuki fails with a takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stroud tests Tsuki's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Oooooh!!! Stroud has knocked Tsuki down with a huge combo! Stroud steps away and waves a wobbly Tsuki back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Kitsune Tsuki has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stroud lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stroud throws a good cross that connects.


Tsuki is rocked!
Stroud cracks Tsuki with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tsuki tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Stroud pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tsuki is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Stroud!
A very excited looking Tom Stroud made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
