PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brawler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ruthless. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Brawler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Hogan!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler dips to his left and cracks Hogan with an uppercut!
Terry Brawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hogan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Brawler manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Hogan is trying to work for a kimura but Brawler is defending well.
Brawler tries to get to full guard but Hogan has control of the leg.

Hogan is thwarting Brawler's attempts to control the position.
Brawler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hogan on the ground.
Hogan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Hogan missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Brawler is refusing to be controlled, as Hogan sits in half guard.
Hogan is thwarting Brawler's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hogan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brawler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hogan.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brawler is refusing to be controlled, as Hogan sits in half guard.
Brawler could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brawler lands with a big left! Hogan is wobbled badly! Brawler comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Hogan to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
