Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kaleb Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teodor Grzmot!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Powers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Powers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grzmot as he jumps to the side.

Powers gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Powers looking for a takedown.
Grzmot is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Grzmot tries to pull guard but Powers forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kaleb Powers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teodor Grzmot.

The fight stays on the outside here - Grzmot looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Powers counters by moving into the clinch.

Powers pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Grzmot wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving.

Grzmot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Powers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grzmot has managed to get both his arms back between Powers's legs - danger averted.
Grzmot throws an elbow that misses. Powers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Grzmot's guard. Nice move by Powers!

Powers tries to free his leg and advance position but Grzmot is retaining full guard.
Powers wants to control from the top but Grzmot keeps moving.

Powers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Powers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Grzmot to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Powers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Grzmot pulls down on the head and he's put Powers to sleep! This one is all over!
