Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taz Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machi Machiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Machi Machiko was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

A head kick from Rutten lands but Machiko takes it in his stride.

Machiko has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Rutten with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Machiko to score with a decent uppercut.

The fighters circling - Machiko throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Machiko bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rutten's head backwards.

Machi Machiko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Rutten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

BOOM! Machiko lands a beautiful left hook that drops Rutten. Rutten tries to recover but Machiko is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Rutten lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
