Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tycho Brahe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brahe comes to the cage accompanied by Astronomy by Metallica. Powers is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by We Run This - Missy Elliot. Jerome Powers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Brahe throws a hook to the side of Powers's head but Powers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brahe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brahe takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Brahe moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Powers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brahe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Powers somewhat.
Brahe lands a glancing blow to the side of Powers's head.
Brahe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've been hearing reports that Brahe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Brahe stuffs the takedown attempt from Powers. Powers gets slowly back to his feet.
Tycho Brahe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Powers.
Powers walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brahe.
Brahe throws a series of punches but Powers avoids them all with ease.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Brahe.
Powers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Powers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brahe.

Powers ducks under a wild hook from Brahe.
Powers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Powers slips a jab from Brahe.
Brahe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Powers closes the distance and clinches up with Brahe, looking for a takedown. Powers pushes Brahe against the cage but Brahe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Powers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brahe pinned against the cage. Brahe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brahe lands a slapping body shot.
Jab, jab by Brahe - just one landing.
Brahe leaves Powers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Powers throws a hook to the side of Brahe's head but Brahe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brahe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brahe works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Powers shoots in and drives through. Brahe sprawls well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Powers misses with a few strikes there.
Brahe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Powers.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brahe, as that shot connected.
Powers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Brahe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Powers. That did some damage!
Powers looks winded!
Powers misses with a looping right.
Brahe lands a head shot.
Brahe scores with the left hand. Powers knows he should have avoided that one.

Powers is rocked!
Brahe lands a brutal uppercut that launches Powers off his feet! Powers tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
