Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pit Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Planet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Captain Planet told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Planet fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lord throws out a powerful jab.
Lord misses with a straight left.
Lord keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lord swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lord fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Planet uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lord.
Lord throws a hook but Planet avoids it easily.
Planet moves out of range as Lord strikes.
Planet takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A big left from Lord misses.
Lord misses with a looping right.
Lord throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Planet stumbling backwards into the cage! Planet bounces back off the cage towards Lord, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Lord lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Lord celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pit Lord!
