The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Searlas connects with a right hand. The One Armed Man shakes it off.

Searlas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The One Armed Man looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and The One Armed Man counters with a right hand to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Searlas.
The One Armed Man ducks under a wild hook from Searlas.
Searlas throws a body punch but The One Armed Man moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that The One Armed Man has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Searlas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Joe The One Armed Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Searlas.

Searlas is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. The One Armed Man just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Searlas has gone limp and this one is over!
