Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anthony Pettis!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pettis drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pettis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Pettis trying to control the position from guard on top but Maywho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pettis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pettis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pettis wants to pass the guard but Maywho is keeping the position.

Maywho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pettis on the ground.
Pettis wants to control from the top but Maywho keeps moving.
Maywho is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Maywho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pettis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pettis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pettis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Pettis in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Maywho is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
