Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Srki Antic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez's entrance music is In The End-Linkin Park. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Velasquez swivels and escapes.
Antic tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Velasquez counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Antic breaks the clinch.
Antic is looking to clinch but Velasquez is avoiding it.
Velasquez darts in trying to clinch
and Antic counters with a series of strikes. Velasquez will be more careful next time no doubt.

Antic darts in and clinches Velasquez up against the cage.
Velasquez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Antic pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Antic jumps guard and drags Velasquez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Velasquez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Velasquez postures up in Antic's guard and throws a big left but Antic blocks it.

Antic has his foot on Velasquez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Velasquez works his way back into a safe position though.

Velasquez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Velasquez is fighting to break Antic's control of his arms but Antic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Velasquez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Antic not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Srki Antic hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Antic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Velasquez as he jumps to the side.
Antic looks winded!

Velasquez throws a sloppy head kick and Antic moves out of range easily.
Velasquez moves in looking to clinch but Antic pushes him off.
Antic throws a hook to the side of Velasquez's head but Velasquez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Velasquez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Antic.
Cain Velasquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Srki Antic.
Velasquez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Velasquez wants it to stay on the feet.
Antic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Antic takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Srki Antic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Velasquez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Antic paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Antic is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Velasquez Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Antic is out cold, face down on the mat!

A relieved looking Cain Velasquez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
