Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederick Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Jigster!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Turner with that takedown attempt.
Jigster moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off.
Turner misses with a takedown attempt - Jigster sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Turner rushes Jigster and presses him up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jigster.
Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jigster breaks the clinch.
Turner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jigster.
Turner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jigster.

Jigster has closed the distance and engaged Turner in a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Jigster fails to land.

Jigster breaks from the clinch.
Turner circles away from the clinch attempt.

Turner dives in and scores a takedown into Jigster's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jigster will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jigster can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Turner controls the pace.

Turner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jigster scores with a jab. Turner acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jigster fails with an attempt to clinch.

Turner closes the distance and pushes Jigster back into the cage.
Turner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jigster avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Turner is working for takedown but Jigster is calmly controlling the position for now.

Turner fails to land with a series of punches.

Turner keeps the fight on the outside.

and Turner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jigster is looking to take this one to the mat.

Jigster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Turner as Jigster shoots in.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Turner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jigster has him pressed against the cage.
Jigster is looking for a takedown.
Jigster fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Turner gets underhooks to prevent Jigster's takedown attempt.

Turner jumps guard and drags Jigster to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jigster postures up in Turner's guard and throws a big left but Turner blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jigster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jigster throws a big elbow that misses.
Jigster trying to control but Turner is working from the bottom.
Jigster looks winded!

Turner is adopting a defensive guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Turner manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Turner blocks an uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jigster has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Turner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Turner is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jigster is defending well.

Turner manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Frederick Turner will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Turner counters by clinching up.
Jigster is trying to break the clinch but Turner has him pressed against the cage.

Turner lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jigster or not.
Jigster tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Turner smiles and moves away.
The fighters circling - Jigster throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bob Jigster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner closes the distance and clinches up with Jigster, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes Jigster against the cage but Jigster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Jigster or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner which made him look bad.
Jigster fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jigster will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Frederick Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Jigster.
Turner lands with an uppercut that bounces Jigster off the cage and back into range.

Turner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jigster sprawls well. Jigster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Turner gets slowly back to his feet.

Turner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Turner wants it to stay on the feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Turner has control of Jigster's left arm, preventing Jigster from doing any damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frederick Turner will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Turner counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Jigster is pressed up against the cage. Turner has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jigster down to the mat. Jigster avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Turner shoots for a takedown but Jigster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
