The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luther takes one on the button.

It looks like Lex Luther has been cut.
Luther fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Luther uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Riseman.
A head kick misses from Luther.
Luther turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Riseman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Luther tries to clinch there but Riseman circles away.
Luther has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Luther gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Riseman breaks the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riseman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Riseman defending well as Luther loads up on a big left hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Riseman.
Luther pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luther tries to land a front kick but Riseman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Luther takes a swing at Riseman's ribcage but misses.
Luther has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A punch combination from Riseman misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Riseman.
Riseman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Riseman attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Riseman ducks under a wild hook from Luther.

Oooooh!!! Riseman has knocked Luther down with a huge combo! Riseman steps away and waves a wobbly Luther back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Luther throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Riseman connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Luther tumbling to the canvas! Riseman pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Luther was done - good stoppage!
