The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis throws a front kick aimed at Kline's knee but Kline avoids it well.
Darios Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the liver by Ellis. Beautiful body shot.
Ellis swats away the attempt to clinch by Kline.
Some wild striking there from Kline.
Kline looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ellis scores with a hook.
Kline shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ellis pinned against the cage. Ellis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ellis pushes Kline up against the cage in a clinch.
Ellis misses with a punch on the inside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ellis looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Ellis is trying to push Kline away but Kline has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ellis tries to pull guard but Kline won't allow it.
Kline really is a fat lump.

Kline prevents Ellis from breaking the clinch.
Ellis is trying to force a seperation but Kline has the dominant position.

Kline breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kline walks into a straight right hand from Ellis.

It looks like Trey Kline has been cut.
Kline throws a wild hook but Ellis just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Kline gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Ellis raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
