Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ib Voigle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ib Voigle acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Voigle has picked Watt up - he's going for a ride! Voigle dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Voigle is keen to just control but Watt is a slippery customer.
Voigle not doing much here.
Let's hope that Voigle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ib Voigle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Watt tries to score with a low kick but Voigle moves his leg out of the way.
Watt shoots and misses

and Voigle counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Voigle keeps control of Watt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Voigle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Voigle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Watt is looking for a sweep.
Watt is trying to work for a sweep but Voigle has mounted him!
Watt can't escape the position.
Watt wants to control but Voigle is having none of it.

Voigle stands up from mount. Strange move.
Voigle shoots for a double leg takedown but Watt sprawls well. He's pushed Voigle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Watt closes the distance looking to clinch

and Voigle counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Watt has his foot on Voigle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Voigle works his way back into a safe position though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Voigle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Voigle tries for a takedown but Watt sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Watt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Voigle is fending him off so far but Watt persists. Nope, Voigle circles away and we're back to standing.

Watt is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Voigle works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Watt keeping moving, preventing Voigle from controlling successfully.

Voigle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Voigle sizes up Watt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Michael Watt has been cut.

Voigle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Watt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Voigle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Watt defends it well.
Voigle tries to pass the half guard into mount. Watt knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Voigle prevents Watt from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Voigle is looking to advance position but Watt won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Watt looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ib Voigle dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Voigle looks to score with a jab to the body but Watt is just out of range.

Voigle forces Watt back against the cage and clinches.
Voigle lands a nice shot to the body.
Voigle effectively controlling the action here.

Voigle drops Watt with a big knee straight up the middle! Watt is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Watt is rocked!

Voigle shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Watt is out cold and this one is all over!
