Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suber Ander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ander shoots and misses

and Hart decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ander's guard.
Hart passes Ander's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ander gets full guard.

Hart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ander manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hart manages to get himself to full guard.
Ander throws a strike but Hart rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ander throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ander has control of Hart's left arm, preventing Hart from doing any damage.

Hart wants to control from the top but Ander keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hart passes into half guard.
Ander is refusing to be controlled, as Hart sits in half guard.
Hart trying to pass the guard but Ander defending well.
Hart prevents Ander from improving his position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hart takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ander is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ander is pressing down on Hart's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Ander is trying to control the position but Hart postures up.
Hart trying to control the position from guard on top but Ander is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ander is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hart works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ander is in trouble now - Hart has advanced to mount!
Ander is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ander on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ander tries to get out of the position.
Hart looking to control but Ander is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Ander manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Ander might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ander wants to get back to full guard but Hart has passed into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hart trying to control the position but Ander is working away.
Ander is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hart's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bret Hart will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ander misses with a two punch combination.
Hart wants to land a leg kick but Ander is out of range.
Hart stuffs the takedown.
Hart closes the distance and clinches up with Ander, looking for a takedown. Hart pushes Ander against the cage but Ander circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ander fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hart avoids it really well and circles away.
Hart darts in looking for a takedown but Ander gets double underhooks and turns Hart into the cage.
Ander is trying to pull guard but Hart turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suber Ander. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hart pulls guard successfully.
Hart is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ander scoring with some ground and pound.

Bret Hart has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ander wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving.
Ander is in close to Hart's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ander lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Hart pushes Ander off and gets back to his feet.
Hart slaps away a takedown attempt from Ander, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ander closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hart quickly recovers to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ander is stalling here. Hart is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ander seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hart has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Hart has an Americana. Ander didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hart is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hart hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Bret Hart bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
