Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caleb Conner has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Caleb Conner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Scott!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conner staying out of range there.
Scott looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Conner tries to sprawl but Scott drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Conner is looking to control Scott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Conner avoid being mounted?
Scott missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Scott is thwarting Conner's attempts to control the position.
Conner is trying to stand back up but Scott is controlling him
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Scott working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Caleb Conner just wasn't active enough.
Conner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Scott swivels and escapes.
Conner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scott tries to avoid it but Conner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scott to the ground. Scott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Conner goes for a double leg but Scott avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Scott continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caleb Conner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Conner slips a jab and a cross from Scott.
Conner shoots for a takedown but Scott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Scott darts in looking for a takedown but Conner gets double underhooks and turns Scott into the cage.
Conner wants to take the fight to the mat but Scott manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Conner looking to throw knees to the head but Scott is blocking nicely.
Conner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Scott to keep the fight standing.

Conner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Scott.
Conner is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Scott is defending well for now.
Conner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Conner drags the fight down to the ground.
Conner is pulling down on Scott's head. It's preventing any offense from Scott, at least for the moment.

Conner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Conner wants to get back to his feet but Scott is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Caleb Conner.

Conner tries to keep at a distance but Scott has taken the fight into the clinch.
Conner is looking to control Scott's arms but Scott gets an underhook and turns him. Now Conner has his back to the cage.

Scott decides to pull guard.

Scott is looking to stand up but Conner isn't so interested in that idea.
Conner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Conner stands up over Scott, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Caleb Conner will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Conner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Scott is aware though and is defending well.
Conner will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Conner kicks Scott off and gets to his feet.

Conner throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Scott was covering up waiting for the punch and Conner finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Scott wants to stand up but Conner is controlling him.
Conner lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Scott pulls Conner in close to prevent any damage.
Scott avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Conner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scott sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Conner somewhat.

Scott tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Conner smiles and moves away.

Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Conner moves out of range easily.

Conner is trying to break the clinch but Scott has him pressed against the cage.
Conner jumps guard but Scott turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Scott wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Conner has him pressed against the cage.
Conner throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Conner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Scott just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Conner's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Caleb Conner.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
