Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Monte Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wallace's choice of entrance music: Sandaless - Wojownik. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monte Holt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafal Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Holt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Holt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wallace manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wallace is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Holt gets a double leg takedown into Wallace's guard.
Holt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wallace throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Holt escapes and throws Wallace's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Holt tries to stand but Wallace is controlling his head.
Wallace tries to get back to half guard but can't.

You can see the frustration on Wallace's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wallace tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Holt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Wallace manages to work his way to half guard, despite Holt's best efforts.
Wallace is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Holt pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace wriggles free and stands up.
Holt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wallace has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Holt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Holt lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Holt misses with a few strikes there.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holt as he avoids it easily.
Monte Holt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafal Wallace.
Holt closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wallace quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wallace manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Holt is looking to stand up but Wallace won't let him.
Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holt looking to sit in guard and control but Wallace gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wallace postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Holt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wallace, into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rafal Wallace will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Holt as Wallace shoots in.

Wallace stands up from mount. Strange move.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but Holt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Holt feints and as Wallace raises his hands in defense, Holt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wallace is on top in guard.

Wallace is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Holt, up you get!

Wallace is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Holt has his hands clasped together but Wallace extends and breaks Holt's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Wallace.
