Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Alverez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Radioactive-Imagine Dragons kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sanderson enables Alverez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sanderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sanderson wants to sweep but no luck.
Alverez stands up from Sanderson's guard - Alverez perhaps looking for a knockout.

Alverez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sanderson smiles and moves away.
Sanderson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Alverez on his heels. He'll look to pass Alverez's guard now, I'm sure.

Sanderson wants to stand but Alverez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Alverez pulls Sanderson in close to prevent any damage.
Alverez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sanderson manages to get himself to full guard.

Sanderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alverez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanderson!
Alverez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Alverez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Alverez working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Sanderson is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Alverez has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Sanderson taps out!
