PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiki Toke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Dredd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toke comes into the arena with Bonecracker- Shocore blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiki Toke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominic Dredd!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dredd lands with an uppercut that bounces Toke off the cage and back into range.
No joy there for Toke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dredd takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dredd misses with a body shot.
Toke misses with a hook.
Dredd misses with a wild combination.
Toke tries for a takedown but Dredd sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A big right from Dredd misses.
A combination from Toke does no damage.

Toke throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dredd tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Toke is in Dredd's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Dredd is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Our spies down at at Heavy Metal inform us that Dredd has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Toke distracts Dredd with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Toke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dredd is keeping the position for now.
Dredd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Toke manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dredd is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Toke has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dredd is looking to defend but Toke has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dredd! Toke pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dredd taps out and this one is all over!

A less than humble Tiki Toke misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
