Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Caballero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragan Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Caballero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dragan Law!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caballero is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Caballero lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Caballero tries to close the distance and clinch but Law swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Caballero connects with a right hand. Law shakes it off.
Law with a poor takedown

and Caballero counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Caballero.
Caballero lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Law backwards.
Caballero prevents the takedown attempt.
Law is trying to pull guard but Caballero turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Law has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
David Caballero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dragan Law.
Caballero tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Law pulls guard effortlessly.
Caballero has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Law is proving hard to escape from.
Law manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Caballero manages to get himself to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Law is looking to work some ground and pound but Caballero has wrist control.

Law is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Caballero wants to get back to full guard.

Caballero's coaches at Disciples Top Team have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Law is pressing down on Caballero's thigh, looking to free his foot. Caballero is holding on for now.
Law throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Caballero to regain full guard.

Caballero is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Law defends well.

Caballero takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Law is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Caballero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Law misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Law wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Caballero, who protects the arm well.
Caballero is looking for a sweep.

Law passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Caballero!
Law misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Law moves to the back.

Law patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Law is working for a rear naked choke. Caballero is not defending it well and Law has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Caballero refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Caballero's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
